Oh No, My Baby is Four!

Our Memorial Day was spent celebrating our one and only son's fourth birthday.  Though overcast skies greeted us when we first arrived at the park to set up, by the time the first guests trickled in, the sun had scattered the last remaining clouds to leave a perfectly blue sky which promised an equally perfect day.

It was a memorable, fun-filled afternoon spent laughing, talking, eating and playing.  Our family is blessed with such sweet and loving family and friends.  We thank God for each and every one of them.  On a more sober note, after the festivities, we visited the nearby cemetery where a number of small American flags decorated a number of the graves.  I hope you, too, were able to celebrate your Memorial Day in some meaningful way....

Tea for Three

It was a beautiful spring day today!  And what better way to enjoy it than to have tea with a dear friend and her daughter.  It was a great opportunity to dress up, catch up and devour tasty treats at the same time...

Ken & Gail's Wedding

This past Saturday, my cousin Ken finally got married!  I say finally because for the last decade or so, each time we'd see each other, I would always mention to him that I was still waiting for his wedding invitation to arrive in the mail.  So imagine my surprise and delight when it did arrive sometime last month!  I was so thrilled for him.  He's the sweetest guy and Gail seems like just the right girl for him.  

One of the novel things they had during the reception was a photobooth setup.  I adore photobooths, they are so quirky and fun!  There were even props and costumes made available to dress up the photos.  These are mine and Billy's...
