After a long winter, our backyard was in a deplorable state--weeds in the planters, leaves and debris scattered in various corners of our patio, and our flowers all overgrown and in desperate need of pruning! In fact, our rose topiary was so full of blossoms that it was leaning over dangerously, threatening to snap in half. So this morning, Andre and I braved the pollen-infested yard and did a little cleanup. We swept the patio, pulled up some weeds and pruned our lavender and roses. It seemed like such a shame to toss out the lovely white blossoms, so we decided to float them in the fountain instead, to give them another chance to display their beauty...

Pretty! Good move =)
This reminds of the beautiful fountain at V. Sattui during Len & Vince's wedding... very pretty.
Andre was the one placing the blossoms in the water, until he spied a huge spider on one of them. He was done after that! lol
