Jesus Loves the Little Children

All the children of the world
Red and yellow, black and white
They are precious in His sight
Jesus loves the little children of the world

With it being Missions Month at our church, it struck me that this would be the perfect opportunity for me to introduce you to our other children. For the last few years now, even before Andre was born, we've had the privilege of sponsoring two boys and one girl through World Vision. We began with Paul from Zambia, followed shortly by Avani (isn't that a pretty name?) from India. Last but not least, we decided to sponsor little Nicolas from Peru. Meet them all here:

We've truly enjoyed being sponsors. We especially appreciate the personal letters and cards given to us by the children themselves. Sometimes we'll even receive drawings from Paul and Avani. From Nicolas' mother, we we're given his precious little hand print! He is over a year older than Andre but his hand size is no bigger than his. World Vision is also very good at providing regular updates, newsletters and/or reports from the specific project communities the children belong to, as well as the children's individual report cards.

If you've ever considered child sponsorship, below is a good resource to evaluate which organization to choose:

Hi there! Your blogs are darling! I saw that you left me a comment, so I responded, but just had to visit, too. God bless you and your family for being so generous and sponsoring those children. I teach a kids Bible class and we save up all year long to purchase clothing and milk, etc., through Samaritan's Purse at the end of the year. There's no better feeling!

I'll be returning often. : )
