Andre's birthday on May 31st at Tilden Park was quite an event! I say that because it was a challenging feat of organization and coordination for the main event planner. That would be me! It's no picnic in the park (ha-ha) to pack and set up food, drinks, decorations, favors, games, etc. for 60+ people at a location nowhere near home. May I also mention that the park is also straight up on top of a hill where the nearest stores are at least 15 minutes away via narrow, windy roads. God was gracious, though. Despite some very minor setbacks, which included cool weather and a lost caterer, all went well. Some dear sisters who in their thoughtfulness extended their gracious help were an added blessing that made the day all the more enjoyable. Thank you, ladies!
