Three-day weekends are so grand! When Billy has the day off, that means an opportunity for a fun family outing. On President's Day, we decided to head for Sonoma to take Andre to Train Town. The boy just loves trains, so this was perfect! Of course, we didn't get a shot of him on the train.

After Train Town, we headed for the Old Town Square to have lunch at the Basque Boulangerie Cafe. Billy had the Croque Monsieur while I ordered the Parisian, and we both shared the Black
Bean & Prosciutto soup which was delicious! As usual, Andre munched on his favorite--bread. In this case a french baguette. When lunchtime was over, we headed for the park in the middle of the square so Andre could run free.

Before heading back home from Sonoma, we made a stop at Domaine Carneros to enjoy the vineyard views that were also awash with mustard blossoms! Unfortunately, we were unable to find a safe place to stop and take pictures of the mustard fields, but we did get some good photos of Andre at the winery.
Smack!
Flying kisses!

Andre has such a beautiful, heartfelt smile! I just love kids for their sincerity and innocence!
Thanks, his smile is beautiful (we tend to be biased!) but laced with a hint of unmistakable mischievousness!!
What a great day! Then we can take Julian to Sonoma too, for the trains. He loves them as well. You live in the bay area pala.. my dream home will be in SoCal, closer to family.
